Greg Moore
The stuff I put up on this site (as well as my own site) is just various
recordings I have done in my Home Studio over the past 14 years.

    I
used Cakewalk Audio Software since 1991 and made the switch to Steinberg's
CUBASE SX last year.

    I
play all the guitars and 90% of the instruments are 'virtual' compliments of
Steinberg, Native Instruments, Akai, Edirol, IK Multimedia, and others.

    I
have used everything from a miked 1978 Marshall 50 watt half stack to a POD XT
for recording guitars including: Behringer V-Amp2, Johnson J-Station, Line6
Vetta II, Alesis MP1, Original SANS AMP, and many various other processors, etc.
Currently, I use a POD XT direct into an AKAI Preamp into a Delta 1010 Audio
interface w/ P4-2.53Mhz, 1Gb RAM, Win2000.

Mostly Instrumental,
there are occasionally pieces I had to lend my voice to, for better, or not. Way
too much soloing and not much composition, it is a great place to listen in on
if you're into guitar heavy music.

Thanks a million for
stopping by and checking out my self indulgent project.

I play in a local Metro
Detroit (Michigan) band called KNOCKOUT. The website is
www.knockout-band.com

Why this name?
It's my Name. The Band KNOCKOUT has been around long before I joined in 1991.
Do you play live?
We play locally in Detroit ares clubs. www.knockout-band.com for details and schedule.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Regarding Internet access to Indie talent? Without it, you'd neverbe at my site. It's the best thing since sliced Mango.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Regarding the Major Label vs Indie Status...Hmmm...I'll get back to you on that double edged sword.
Band History:
Since age 15 in bands with very little time off over the 27 years since.
Knockout, my current band, is 13 years + and still going strong. We play 42 out of 52 weeks a year.
Your influences?
See Info Page above.
Favorite spot?
Orlando Florida, namely: Disney World.
Equipment used:
I use Cubase SX 2.0.2 w/ IK's Sam[pletank 2.0 XK, Native Instruments' BATTERY for Drums and B4 for Organ, Edirol's Super Quartet, and more. P4 2.53 - 1GB Ram, 6 ATA HDDs, M-Audio Delta1010 Rack Audio interface, Akai 16 track Hard Disk Recorder, 20 different guitars, etc.
Anything else...?
I love my wife Veronica, of 12 years, with all my heart.
