Nod is an up and coming band from Louisiana that is the essence of good Rock music. Nod mixes blues, punk, and straight up rock and roll into a new and fresh style that will keep you coming back for more.
Why this name?
Nod is the Land, just East of Eden that Cain was cast out into. It isn't a religious statement... more of a statement on who we are... we are like Cain... Outcast.
Do you play live?
Nod gained local notoriety with its first song and video called Reasons, which aired on the UC Music show and ran for 3 months. Nod’s Music Has been featured on KSLU 90.9 fm, as well as KLSU 91.1 fm.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has allowed bands to get there songs out to more people... but has also saturated the world with alot of crap. Just listen to some internet radio and you'll see... for every 1 song that rocks there are 4 songs that just suck
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
