Strickly working underground recording off many differnt computers and laptops, and make shift studios around the north bay. After time passed we started to develop a devotion to bring our music out from our cd players and get them in yours. spring of 2006 we started working on a mixtape hosted by myself Mac Joe. The mixtape took on several names until finaly called Humboldt Hyphy vol 1. It also allowed the group to branch out and work with many other local artist since it was a Humboldt county mixtape to be localy produced and recorded. Mac Joe of the north bay ridaz began working with thic man a upcomming skilled rapper from the area and mac joe became a meber of the thic family were the rest of the the north bay ridaz reside today. For there equipment its pretty basic using a Hp pavillion Ze5000 and Dell PC with m- audio sound card in it wired into a Emx 660 duel eculizer power mixer. For a vocals teh use a AKG 3000 B mic. For beats fruity loops 6.0 producer edition, Reason 3.0 express, Boss Dr Rythm drum machine, and my Korg Ms2000 synthisizer. Everything is mixed down with acid pro 5.0.
