The Turkies Dunn have played in and around the Chicago area for a number of years, Currently separated by the Wisconsin state line, fans eagerly await the next reunion of founding members and the release of new product. Hardley is playing gigs in Chicago, Working on a solo career and G-spot is playing with The Oak St. Ramblers and is fast becoming Madison's premier Mandolin player.

We don't use it enough to know all the ramifications' but any service that can provide access to otherwize unknown, unheard, musicians and songwriters is greatly appreciated in the quagmire of over-produced, overhyped and under-talented tripe that we are inundated with on corporate airwaves.

The right label? The right time? SURE. We ARE interested in better production value and better exposure and are not opposed to shopping out songs to other (possibly more popular) artists

Hardley Parton and G-Spot Willie Jones met in the late '90s and performed together as 'Parton and Jones' until Willie enlisted the percussion wizardry of Izzy Dunn. The Band played for a while as 'Parton, Jones and Dunn' until adding Izzy's brother Soupie Dunn on bass. Soupie soon parted ways and the Power-Country trio that is The Turkies Dunn was born.

Hank, Johnny, Jimmy, the Louvins, John,Paul,George, Jim,Jack,Ol' Grandad and lifes hard knocks. We like a good story and a good harmony. We are country/blues-bluegrass oriented.

Hardley was self taught on the baritone ukelele and played it for near on ten years when he finally got hooked up with a tenor guitar (four-string rhythm guitar) and has been playing and collecting Tenor guitars for nearly as long as that.
G-spot Willie Jones sang played mandolin at a very early age while his father strummed guitar and led in hymns and old standards. He is as well addept on lead guitar and bass and has been integral to the growth of this and other bands including 'Scrotum Pole' and 'Windows on the Ceiling'
