Limp Off to School
The Tuning Punks is a loose affiliation of musicians and composers who have an interest in microtonal music, that is, music whose tonal resources are not the usual 12 tone equal temperament.
Why this name?
Someone once claimed "I know more about tuning than all of you punks put together", and we were so amused.
Do you play live?
We live all over the world, and some of us play live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives musicians and composers the opportunity to present their music to a wide audience without the intervention of know nothing record company A&R men.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Ask any of these folks, and they would probably say yes.
