kindablu consists of preach (of 7Moonz) and tiaz the onley sun (of crowded mics). coming from the metro area of south carolina, the two met while on the groundbreaking "metro mics tour" of 2001 where the two met.
now with a common ground of the love for hip hop and the responsibility to say something, kindablu was established. album due out later this year with a tour to follow.

Why this name?
kindablu is derived from the jazz album "kind of blue" by miles davis. the jazz influence in the kindablu album cannot be denied.
Do you play live?
Metro Mics tour expanded from cities in south carolina to atlanta.
a O.F.F. (Original Fruit Fam) tour is in the works to accompany the album.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
To be able to have people listen to your music while you still are a local artist is one of the great wonders from the internet. Songs produced for the album wouldn't have been possible without the internet since one of the producers reside in sweden.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yes, since being independent can burn you out. a major deal isn't the enemy, it's bad artists.
