Hi, you've probably become too bored to browse the rest of the web, so welcome to here! I would appriciate any feedback what-so-ever. Feel free to email me or post on the message board.
Why this name?
No band name. Hell. No band. I'm just a teenager with a guitar, bass, and drum machine.
Do you play live?
I try to play live. Right now getting a band together and playing a song seems like a goal so far away.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
For the better. More bands are being able to be checked out, and they actually still make money if they just go out and play their instruments.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes. Once I understand Lawyer-talk
Band History:
Alot of these songs ended up as something for me to do over Winter Vacation of 2004. I got a Beringher mixer for christmas and N-track software. I borrowed my dads guitar, and I got my bass, and I made up a song. I just thought it would be pretty good to waste some time. Then I got into it more and more and more. By February, I was producing a song a day. Which is pretty good considering it normally takes me 3 days to get my lo-fi demos sounding decent. I hope that my songwriting will improve, even though I still can't write lyrics or vocal compositions for shit, and I can someday become a great songwriter/musician/artist/guy with the guitar gig bag waiting for a bus.
Your influences?
My music is really a clash of everything. Lately I've been listening to Melissa Auf Der Maur, Smashing Pumpkins, The Cure, Death Cab for Cutie, Sonic Youth, The Pixies, and Tool. But there are so many more. Miles Davis and Charles Mingus are probably my two favorite arrangers. Radiohead and Sonic Youth help me to see that ugliness is beauty, and Joy Division helps me to see that depression and anger is beauty too. And The Smashing Pumpkins got me to say "Whoa, maybe I could do this..."
Favorite spot?
Favourite spot? Right now, either Chicago or Boston. Providence RI has a good scene, but it can't compare to Boston

Anything else...?
I use alot of alternite tunings. Often I can't remember them all, and I often break strings, so I have this list by my computer for tunings that break my strings if I try to tune back up to standard. I'll try and put those songs last on my list (Of course, I don't think a cover of Xpressway To Yr Skull would work well as an opener.)
