CLAN DESTYN

The name Clan Destyn is a combination of Gaelic, English and French that can be translated as "Children of Destiny" amongst other meanings..

Clan Destyn is a main course of folk-rock, rock and blues music, can be served either acoustically and/or electric.. Choice of rock, blues, folk-rock with a tatse of country and a spice of variety..

Perfect for clubs, coffee houses, parties, festivals, a host of events and occasions..

Why this name?
Rufus suggested Clandestine as a name.. Seperating the words Clan and Destine gave a new meaning to the words.. "Clan" is the Gaelic word for "Children".. Destyn comes from "destiny".. We thought it had a nice and mysterious sound.. and hopefully the group is "destined" to be together and be successful..
Do you play live?
We play live whenever we can.. so far around the Baltimore and Washington, DC area..
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's great.. it gives artists a chance to be heard by almost anyone in the world who would otherwise remain unheard..
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Certainly, I brought my pen..
