I'm not at liberty to say. It's a name that was just floating around in my head for ages. Some people have difficulty pronouncing it though. I recommend pronouncing it either "AWE-an" or "one". Personally i just go for "on".

I don't play live, nor do I plan to. I have tremendous fear of audiences, plus i don't think my music would translate well to a live setting.

Good question, that. I can understand why mp3 hurts record companies, but i think everyone does by now, so I won't patronise by going into it. I'll say this though. If it wasn't for mp3 and P2P file sharing, i would have had no audience for my music at all, at least not one who knew what they were talking about with this style of music, and were well informed enough to give me feedback and let me evolve as an artist.

I listen to a lot of experimental stuff, definitely of a more hardcore slant. As long as we're name-dropping, then namely Venetian Snares, Doormouse, Hellfish & Producer, Squarepusher, Photek, Aphex Twin and Klute.

I'm one of a lucky few people that actually loves the city he was brought up in. In my case, that would be Glasgow, Scotland. My favourite spot would be a bench underneath a statue of some king of yore in the city centre. I can sit there and smoke roll-ups and just watch the world go by. Cliched, maybe, but i love it.

I hardly use any hardware, other than a MIDI controller keyboard and knob box. As far as software goes, I use Cubase VST and various plugins. NI Battery is the only real recurring one.
