Shackled Humanity is a brutal display of insanity. Violence in the form of music is unleashed. Pure emotion pured into live performance. This is something you can only witness for yourself to believe. The songs on here are with our old vocalist and the quality isn't good, but we will be going into the studio to record a new demo in the near future.

Why this name?
Shackled Humanity basically means the restraints that society is held down by, which everyone must break away from and think for themselves.
Do you play live?
We play at The Saint, Club Krome, The Stone Pony, and The Birch Hill. Check out the section the 'On Tour' section for all our upcoming shows or you can contact us with any questions.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's good in the sense that unsigned bands have a way to be heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Under our terms, we will never change our sound to get signed.
Band History:
We formed in July of 2002 and have gone through line-up changes since. The orignal line up was Rich Horton on guitar/vocals, Nick Golkiewicz on bass, and Jim McGuire on drums. Mike Gutto joined the band on guitar in September of 2002, then problems arose with Rich in October of 2002 and he was kicked out. Carmen Ugaro then joined on vocals in the same month. Carmen quit in January of 2003 due to personal problems. Nick Shedlock was then inducted into the band on vocals in January of 2003. Dave Hoosack will also be joining us full time on guitar in May of 2003.
