Why this name?
Ful Surkil is actually named after a story with my sister and I. When we lived in Madison we lived in a small ass bedroom together. We'd get pissed off at someone (Mom or her dumbass boyfriend) and blast music in our room and lock the door. Our favorite song to belt out was "Full Circle" by Aerosmith. Good times.
Do you play live?
Yes i do. Usually in talent shows and summer camps and on the streets. maily whenever i can
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Our technology today...lets just say we wouldn't being doing much without it...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, but I am currently with LockDown Studios
Band History:
My music has been a long time comming. A developement in the works that I have practiced since I was 3 or 4 years old. Sure it started out as a some lil karaoke thingy from the 80's that feature "You Are My Sunshine" lol but now look at me. As a teen I progressed more. I was so into music constantly, it was all I did. I just had this need to do it...I craved that shit. I just wanted ppl to see me and listen. Maybe make some sort of effect on their life. Speak for the pissed off youth on the way ;).
At 16, I began writing music with my sister Mariah. She's got an amazing voice, so I figured we'd record it after. I worked for 3 f***en days on that song and realyzed after how much work it really takes. Everyone who listened to it loved it. (Madison Dream)
Been through hell and back since the song came out. Rehab, got arrested and fined 500$, dropped out of highschool before finishing my first year. I just kinda let it fall.
Through it all there was still one thing that was the biggest support system ever...Music.
Fast foreward, here I am. 19 going on 30 (so I'm told) out on my own, working 2 jobs, fully graduated, and finally ready for the next task at hand.
Without Music the world will not turn-Kye Packard
Your influences?
I like to Incorporate my life expirances as music because I've been through a lot of sh*** I believe people can relate to. a mixture of Linkin and evanescence..
Favorite spot?
