Originally, they were 'Double Exposure'. That was the plan until a name search came up with five corporations that already held some form of Double Exposure. The legal eagles advised against pursuing the name further so they came up with 'Strange Cargo'. Everybody really liked that name until Warner Bros. released an album by the same name! Day late, dollar short. The money was running out and the production schedule was waaay behind so Sebastijan Petrovic, our cover artist, was asked to help create a concept. Out on the "Playground" was the result.

Warren and Glenn perform occasionally at various venues. But "Initial Approach" was a studio project done for the sheer love of the music. These guys enjoy some real diversified talents and are known to play well with others. You just gotta like what you hear.

"mp3 opens entirely new horizons for artists, writers and performers. The record industry is alive and well, but sales continue to decline as new emerging talent require career development and, more importantly, expanding platforms from which to be heard. The Independent Artists give generously of themselves, and help to shape the future of the entertainment business. The internet provides the opportunity to become exposed to everybody, which is where we need to be.

Initial Approach is predominately a smooth jazz album. Warren listened to Dave Grusin alot and developed the ability to construct fabulous arrangements. Glenn pretty much evolved into jazz. Through the years he developed his ear for smooth jazz compositions. He listens to Larry Carlton, Earl Klugh, and "The Rippingtons".

Glenn loves Antigua, but you can't always get what you want. Warren says, home. Amrum, an island off the coast of Germany. They currently reside in Florida.

A Technics KN-2000 was the principle keyboard used on the album. There's also a whole bunch of toys.
