We got the name glass-garage, when we first started just popey and ben was practising in a consevetory,writing songs and then we found another guitarist called parkz, so we had to move out of the consevetory bcuz it got too little, and moved to bens garage.....

consevetory = GLASS
garage = GARAGE

yeh, weve played a lot of gigs around the west midilands, we love the rush when being on stage, and the fans!
no speacial moments yet.... but im sure there will be.

It all started when Popey got his first guitar in 2002, it was a white peavey raptor, he never liked it, cause his parents chose it, but still! A few weeks after he got his instrument he was asked to be in a band called Smudged, with his good friend Dan, and other members Ross and Ryan! But then Dan found another band called Enthused, then the band fell apart from there, so that was that, THEN, Popey knew this kid, called Ben masters who was a bit of a rocker and had a bass guitar, not knowing that he couldnt play it, he asked Ben if he wanted to make a band, Ben said yes, so a week later Popey invited Ben to have a little Jam in his conservatory, Ben had a short neck bass (sunburst) and a wooden amp, it was his dads from his teen years, but still, they sat down ready to start jamming when Popey realised Ben hadnt even touched a bass guitar before, SOOO Popey had too try and teach Ben the basics starting with seven nation army, and eye of the tiger, Ben picked it up quite easy, by the end of the day they managed to write a song with lyrics, they was quite proud. They kept doing this daily for about 3months, then when they thought they was ready, Popey asked Ben if he new another guitarist cause Popey wasnt really ready or good enough to play lead at this time, he said he didnt know anyone but he heard of this kid called James parks who played guitar in the school bands, so when Ben got to school the next day he asked James if he wanted to join a band, parks wasnt to fussed and said yes, so they arranged a practise in bens garage on a Monday, parks used a squire strat (black), they all come to the conclusion that Girl all the bad guys want was a good song too start with!. A few days later Ben went round to Popeys to tell him that they had found a singer at there school, his name was Tom Patrick. He had been trying to find the write band for a long time, he even found a add for this heavy metal band, but they turned him down cause they was like 30.Tom also new this kid called Phil Giles who played drums and was supposed to be quite good, anyways, it come to the next Monday and they had another practise, they had all learnt Girl all the bad guys want and could play it as a band they kept doing this with other songs like stay together for the kids and My friends over you.
About a month later Toms dad had got us a gig in Lichfield for toms sisters football Halloween party, by this time the band started getting scared and had to work there asss off, the time come, and we had to play with little amount of equipment, we had 2 30-watt marshalls, a peavey bass amp, which Parks mum had loaned to Ben and Tom was singing, threw a guitar amp, all you could hear was god damn drums!. We kept practising and practising till there was another gig, But only in front of 250 peeps all from Popeys school, it was called G-FEST there was Glass-garage, Off-hand, an acoustic band and Enthused, but we had to play first! We had to play 8 songs, so we kept practising and practising and then we had a rehearsal about a week before the actual gig, I was a nightmare, the band arrived late cause it was at Popeys school and it was about a hours drive, so Enthused did there bit then off-hand but still no members turned up apart from Popey in glass-garage and then when everyone went to pack away, then they burst threw the door, with all there equipment, we went on stage ready to play and Popeys strap falls off, so he sits down to play, then parks messed up on the very first bit of the song so every1 laughs, and then Tom started singing, that shut the bastards up!.
Then the day of G-FEST we was all ready to play, we walked on and the screams blew the bollocks of us, we didnt know what to do! We stepped up, popey shouted check 1 check 1 shabba lmao and then we burst out into the bi*** song, it was sooo cool, some people say we were even better than off-hand,we did a few more little gigs, and then we got ready for the big one .

A few weeks before the gig Popey and Ben went to call for parks and but his crazy asshole of a dad chased them, and said they was pulling shrubs out of his garden, and then he kicked Parks out of the band cause he thought they was rebels, and then that put them in the shit, and here we are today, luckily Dave, from enthused is helping us out for this gig, then were becoming a
4 piece. Then we decided that Glass-garage would be a better band with a two Guitarists, so we got Prosser to Join, he was a very good guitarist but he didnt realy fit in with glass-garage...so back too stage 1. We was getting desprate cause we had the demo cumin up and all, so we asked parkz to rejoin, amazingly he was quite excited and was at the next practise we had set.
