The Psalms 150 Band Comes from the scripture Psalms 150:3-6 "Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord."
Why this name?
The Reason we picked Psalms 150 to be our band name is because we just want to praise the Lord through all forms of music. God created music and gave us the talent, why shouldn't we give it back to him.
Do you play live?
We Play all over the DC metroploitan Area. As well as the Del-Mar-Va area. We have played for 93.9 WKYS F.M. (Local DC area Radio Station. As well as heaven 1580 a.m. WYCB 1340 A.M. We have played for Cable T.v. Shows. Unifest, Block parties, Birthday Parties, Youth Rallies, High Schools, Hotels. In the Projects in the Suburbs. Anywhere we are called and able we will Minister.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The Internet Reaches a diffrent group of people the main stream music. Mp3 is the New Underground giving even the most unknown artist a chance to be knoticed.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If it was pleasing to both parties then yes.

Other Gospel Go-Go Bands in the DC area we look up to. Ministers of God and God himself.

In Our Band we use Keyboards, Base/Electric Guitars, Drums, Congas, Rotto toms, Timbalies and Percusions.
