What's Going on, the name's Kid Buddah, born and raised in the Bronx, NY. I'm just trying to make music people would feel, there's alot of rappers out who don't have talent..I figured if they can make it then there's no reason why i can't..Shout out to the whole Q's Up! Fam, On Que Entertainment...Persevere, One800, & Parry Illest..Also a big shout to Joe Dirt, Che' Kidd, Hurricane, P.Cake, Freddy Fiya, Tha Canuck, Ace Lee, Da Philosopha, and everyone who supports me, I Love all ya'll...holla@me...We making moves baby!!
Why this name?
I had the nickname "Buddah" for a while, and you know it's a god to some..but Buddah supposed to be wise, and i have had alot of life experiences that i've grown from and smartened up from them..And since im 22, im still young, they say old poeple are wise, but its not in age, its in experience...so i added the "Kid" to my name to give itmore meaning and to make it a little more catchier..
Do you play live?
I did a performance for a pep rally in school once, and this girl jumped on stage and grabbed my leg..lol...it was funny..but i loved the experience, theres nothing like seeing the crowd waving their hands, feeling your music...that type of feedback keeps me going..
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Mp3's aren't bad because anyone anywhere in the world can get them, but then again, thats how bootlegging comes about...i mean if i get signed i wouldnt want to be bootlegged, but if im being bootleged, that means im being heard, and thats what its all about.....
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yeah i would for the simple fact that i can get paid for doing what i love....who wouldnt want to do that, but even if i never get signed i'll still be making music...
Band History:
Well. i was always a hip hop lover, so i always listend to it even before i ever thought about rapping..then me and my boys all felt that hip hop was falling off, and the what was getting play on tv and radio was wack, so we figured lets just make our own music..and thats what we did, after quite a while we seen we made hotter stuff than signed artists..so we pursued it, till this day..
