D'Sential is the brainchild of Manchester UK based ex-DJ now producer Damien Oakes-Francis. A musician for over 20 years, for the past 4 years, he has concentrated on writing commercial sounding dance/pop anthems. From the unmistakable Funky Funky to Nobody loves me baby like you do, to name a few. With over 13,000 downloads so far at the ex mp3.com and double-charted in the top 10 in the genre of dance/club, D'Sential is now at the forefront of quality dance producers.

If you love dance music, you'll love D'Sential.

Why this name?
D for Damien and Essential equals D'Sential
Do you play live?
I'm a producer, not an act.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is basically free advertising for any unknown bands, there are literaly thousands and thousands of unsigned acts out there, the net has introduced more in the last 5 years.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No I wouldn't, I write for other people. It would be on an as-is basis.
