'....as i pressed the fire control...ahead of me rockets blazed through the sky.'
TEN SECONDS OF CHAOS have spent the past three years being hand-reared from sonically modified fetuses through to adolescence in a hut in the suburban outback of Leeds. They have recently evolved into something new and exciting. Vocalist/guitarist - Matt Higgins, bass player - Paul Relton and drummer/programmer - Sam Leach have now reached the stage where they are ready for bigger things.
Their genre defying sound can only best be described as a melodic wall of sound. Powerful choruses, interesting rhythms, paint blistering riffs, driving basslines and thought provoking lyrics all merge to put the band in a journalistic void between NME and Kerrang! Although no one clear influence can be identified in the TSOC sound, bands like Biffy Clyro, Vex Red, Halo and Oceansize have all played their part. Onstage Ten Seconds Of Chaos put on a highly energetic show with moments of utter noize-driven madness intertwined with passionate melancholic lulls.
WIth previously varied results in getting the live sound down to tape, the latest e.p 'Don't Cut Me Out' sees TSOC take on the DIY approach to recording. The e.p is entirely self engineered and produced giving the band full control over the raw, live sound they strive for.
Ten Seconds Of Chaos are forever touring and writing new material in an attempt to build up their evergrowing fanbase and rise into the upper echelons of the world of rawk!
'Limb flailing rock with very little need for roll....so loud and awe inspiring...rock euphoria!'....Leedsmusicscene.co.uk

Why this name?
It came from bits of various other ideas for names that we'd thought of.
Do you play live?
Wouldn't be much of a band really if we didn't play live! We play all over the country, anywhere that will have us. Too many great experiences to mention but it's always ace to be able to support more established acts such as Oceansize, thisGIRL, Halo, Rocket Science, Yourcodenameis:milo, Read Yellow and other bands well known bands which we've shared gigs with.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's a good thing for unsigned artists looking for exposure.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hell yeh! Providing that we still had alot of artistic control.
Your influences?
Too many....Biffy Clyro, At the drive in, Halo, Oceansize, Vex Red, My Vitriol, Mars Volta and so on.
