Just listen to the songs and see what you think.

Having said that;

I am a 1st year sound engineering degree student with a small home recording set up. I don't claim to be a singer because I know my voice isn't up to scratch but have to try in order to hear my lyrics put to music. I am always looking for someone to sing on my songs for me...any takers? My music is mostly written on acoustic guitar and then later multitracked with suitable backings. Although I sometimes write for various instruments, the guitar is the basis for almost all composition meaning most songs could be considered 'acoustic' in genre. Despite this, the other elements bump it into what I can only describe as Indie.
Why this name?
It's my name.
My parents very nearly called me Appolo!
Do you play live?
I play the 'Acoustic Club' night at the Elements bar in Huddersfield whenever I have a new song and the occational open mic night in Leeds.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
That's a biggy! Still undecided on this subject. Sites like this I think are doing nothing but good but in general I think the next 5 years are going to be pretty crutial for the industry. I was an early napster member and as a socialist was very excited by millions of people sharing, but as we are coming to realise, the capitalist society inwhich we all live simply cannot survive with millions of people doing just that; sharing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, if:
a)- They helped me release my songs
b)- They gave me lots of money, after all, at the moment at least, they've got loads!
Band History:
-Played electric guitar since I was 13.
-Got an acoustic a couple of years ago (massive thank you to my sister and brother-in-law) which really got me into song writing.
-Have been writing songs for the last year or so.
Your influences?
The Smiths, Morrissey, Elliot Smith, Coldplay, Verve, Paul Weller, , Craig David (HaHaHa, Yeah!)
Favorite spot?
It's got to be Bushey. Full of living legends!...
Let's say it one more time, all together...BUSHEY!
Anything else...?
Check out 'Polygon' on soundclick if your into some dark drum and bass, but if you are I don't know why you're looking at my page. He's an old mate from the one and only Bushey.
