Band History:
Things started the way most things do in music, two friends, one wish, and basically delusions of granger. That being said, this "dreaming a reality" begins sometime around January 2003. Moving on down the timeline, things really got moving in March and April, by which point Gray and Dutra had finished a few songs. Things start to take shape by summertime, and at this point it would be safe to say they really began to discover the direction they were heading and what they wanted out of it, this playing music together thing.

In a nut shell, Gray and Dutra wanted some songs of their own to play, and a time and place to play them. Well, as most people who play an instrument or sing, or doing anything of the like will tell you, everything starts out peaches and cream and then you finally discover that you have to actually work at it, what ever it is that you are doing.

By summertime, more like late summer, early fall, let's say "Octoberish", is when things seem to hit a wall. Taking a step back towards the beginning of the timeline...We all know earlier in the year, the U.S. had gone to war in Iraq. Well, as it turns out, this Marine, Brad we'll call him, goes to war and will eventually end up with a welcome home party thrown by his now nearly at wits end mother, who we will refer to as the crazy "I don't even have a flag" lady.

Anyway, getting back to the less personal, Dutra knew Brad from childhood, ended up going to the crazy "I don't even have a flag" lady's welcome party for him, re-discovered that Brad played guitar, invited him over to "make some noise" as Brad puts it, and basically Brad became the third member of CLB.

Now, jumping ahead in the timeline, it is by this time November 2003 and the whole thing is peaches and cream again with the new blood...and now that BLOOD has been mentioned, take note that Brad is a decorated marine war veteran from Iraq, that's right he received a combat medal, and basically that means you will like our music or Brad comes to your house with more determination to speak with you than a Jehovah's witness.anyway, Brad basically brings NEW LIFE to CLB (now that's an ironic and funny statement...come on, I know your laughing at this point).

So it's been a little more than a year since Gray and Dutra started this thing, a few months since Brad got into the mix, and well, it's now January 2004, and the three of us are really hoping we can pull something together for those of you who are interested, and we hope it will be soon. No empty promises, but if we do have to make one promise, it will be that we thank everyone who actually supports us when the three of us get our act together and play our music for you interested folk.
