KrelisyS was founded in 1999, I'd dabbled in music before this but the name came later. I'm actually a young female struggling through the electronic music world. KrelisyS had a track released on compilation in Canada last year, but nothing since then. (still struggling)...
Why this name?
I didn't realise how difficult it would be to give tracks titles and then came the bandname, bloody hell... Any way I was staring at my computer screen for hours when I realised the name was staring me in the face, I owned a Relisys monitor so I put my first initial infront and came with KrelisyS...
Do you play live?
KRELISYS is playing live on Ffriday 16th September at the hat Factory in Luton, Beds, more info to follow shortly.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet gives people like myself a chance to be heard by people all around the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Who wouldn't!!
Your influences?
I've always liked to listen to Trip Hop, Ambient, Drum n Bass, EBM. Bands like Red Snapper, Portishead, Tricky, DJ Shadown, Amon Tobin, David Holmes, Click Click and many more but these are the main bands that influence my music.
Favorite spot?
It would have to Houghton House in Ampthill, I spent a lot of my childhood summers having picnics their with my family.
Equipment used:
Currently I am using a PC, Evolution MK-149 keyboard and AMP. Software is Sonar 2.2, Acid Pro 2.0 and Sound Forge 7.0
