Just music?

Quite is kept.... Product been creatin' music in the dungeons for years. I'm really a producer at heart but I have spit on indie albums for up and coming rappers in the Bay Area, Las Vegas, LA, Fresno and Sacramento.
Why this name?
Product: I just create music, all day long, it's what I do, so I believe the name is fitting. 1999, An Oakland rapper/producer by the name of NEEL gave it to me and it stuck. He said I pump out so many slappers sometin' like 2-3 a day<<>>
Do you play live?
No, for the time being, I am digital, strictly internet and the streets. I have a family to look after so I don't let much get in the way of that, I could never put my family at risk so I chose to take a more private approach entering into the music industry.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Media such as the internet is a great tool to get noticed, I probably would have lost confidence a while ago if I wasn't able to get advice and learn from folks such as yourself.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
YNOT...I could go idie but if someone wants to put me on, I'm ready!!! In the past I kept my rap music to myself and with a core set of listeners, now, i just want to be heard. I have a good heart for music, I've spent considerable amounts of time putting in work.
Band History:
Grew up down the block in San Jose, Ca. Product>>> "Some artists/producers are nice, some think their twice as nice, some just put in work to perfect their style" In 1997, I began working hard to pefect my style as a producer. I studied hip hop producers from the 80's to date. While selecting the most intriguing elements of the RZA, Dr. Dre, Kayne West, Tony Touch, east, west, south etc. Being open to various forms of hip hop allowed me to enter an expiremental phase. Once activated I found myself making beats daily. In 1999, There was a mass production of beats, I mean, instrumentals would come 2 -3 times every day for a while. That's when I started producing a sick mc from East Oakland>>>NEEL. I've always rap but never considered myself a real rapper. You know, I would just write to hear someone rap over my beats if Neel wasn't available. I ended up recording 100 or so raps as an individual and a few with other groups and family members. Those beats I will be releasing as free downloads(do what you want with them) and the raps will be uploaded as well (mixtape them or do whateva, it's all gravvy)
Your influences?
Your influences? 1986, when hip hop was just good music. I come from a large family of athletes so we would listen to a lot of music to get juiced before gameday.
