The Supersonic project is my first solo adventure in music. I don't care much about styles, so expect a lot of different sound here.

I'll start with electronic style music, as my studio not yet capable of recording decent quality acoustic sound. I'm working on it...

I plan to remix old computer game music, as well as write my own music.
Why this name?
There is two ways to interpret the name. You can take the band name literally: faster than sonic. But you can also read it as very good sonic, which I'm striving for :-) I decided to use the name after Oasis released their song with the same name. And yes, I like the Seattle Supersonics, too :-)
Do you play live?
I used to play live in different band settings. Today, I mostly work in my home studio. I didn't play live for quite some time. I'd like to do it again at some point, though.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's easier today to get an audience. It is much harder to be recognized though. Generally, publishing music as well as purchasing music has become much more efficient and fun.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably not.
Band History:
After moving to Graz, I'm just starting this project. I'll probably cover some old computer game music, as well as compose my own songs.

There is no real band history yet...
Your influences?
I'm pretty much open to almost any kind of music. Although I have to say I'm heavily impressed by all of Pink Floyd's music.

I don't care much about what "style" a piece of music is supposed to be, it just has to sound good.
Favorite spot?
Laguna Beach, CA.
Equipment used:
I use software synthesizers mostly, especially rgc:Audio's Pentagon I and z3ta+, as well as their sfz+, and Waldorf's Attack and PPG Wave. I plan to buy some hardware sound modules in the future though, such as the Fantom, Triton, and Motif Racks.

I also use "real" instruments, like my Fender Stratocaster, a Ukulele, and some others.
Anything else...?
Angel, this is for you!
