Why this name?
Cakija came from my cousin, he started calling me that and the name kind of stuck to me. Alot of people ask me what it means. The meaning of Cakija is Pocket Knife in Bosnian. I decited to change my rap name from BThugg to Lil Snap and then to Cakija after people started calling me by my nickname I turned it into my rap name.
Do you play live?
Yeah. Ive done a few show's around town at car show's and Bosnian concerts. stuff like that.. My own concert's comming soon
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps people get their music out their. Without the internet I seriously dont know how I would get my music out to people and let them listen to me and buy my albums, watch my videos and stuff like that.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah if it was the right time and the right record label.
Band History:
I first wrote my first rap song called "Hands Full Of Shell's" in the last day of my 5th grade school year out of bordom. After a while I got a 10$ walmart microphone downloaded some online beats and over sound recorder record my own music. It was really crap but it worked for then. People started telling me I sucked this and that. But it only encouraged me to work harder. And I still get people who dont like me and thats fine if you dont like my music, Easily click the X button on the right top corner and dont listen to me.
