Taliesin Moonwolf is very good friends and musicians. We collaborate to come up with new songs and new sounding music. We have been working on recordings with Walt Sapsai and Bill Mormann for many years now.
But we now have a new band please check us out at TaliesinMoonwolf.com.

Why this name?
I chose the bands name because of it's referral to music and magic.{tal-i-ess-in} (Welsh) "Radiant Brow", Prince of Song; Chief of the Bards of the West; a poet. Patron of Druids, Bards, and minstrels; a shape-shifter. Writing, poetry; wisdom; wizards; Bards; music; knowledge; magic.

The real meaning of Taliesin:
Do you play live?
We go out from time to time to play at open mike's in our area. But due to work obligations we haven't been able to lately.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it has added a new avenue for artists to have a better chance of getting their music out to the people. It also gives it more of a personal touch with getting the opportunity to tell about yourself and link to other players and listen and enjoy other bands music up close and personal.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe but it would have to be a doozy. We have spent many years writing and I wouldn't want to loose creative control of all that we have done to satisfy a label. I think musicians are who they are, the labels try to change them to make them bigger and less than who they are. When you do it independently people see you as just a person and your views on many things going on in the world.
Band History:
Jacqueline Ryks/Melini

Age: 38
I have been singing since I can remember. My mom sang professionally for a while, and I vaguely remember her singing in the studio in Danbury, Ct. So I was hooked when I heard her. And I knew from then I wanted to sing and write music. I was born in Danbury, Ct., when I was about 5 we moved to Southern Illinois. We first moved to Energy, Il. and we attended a small but wonderful Methodist Church were I sang in the Choir I loved it. Then to Herrin, then Carterville, then our last stop was Crainville, Il. Where I attended Carterville Community High School. Then we moved to Ebensburg, Pa., where I attended Central Cambria High School. I have been writing lyrics, poems and music since I was about 15 or 16. Then we moved to Millville, N.J. when I was 21 and I met a great musician by the name of Walt Sapsai.
This CD is the 2nd one for myself and my husband Joe. I moved to New Jersey in 1988. I met Walt in 1989, and we jammed while he was in working bands and have remained best of friends ever since. I met my husband Joe in 1995 and found out he was a musician too. Well I fell in love. WE married and have been making beautiful rock music ever since.
My favorite singers/bands are:
Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac, Heart-Ann Wilson, Pat Benatar,Wynona Judd, Rainbow, Deep Purple,Twisted Sister Dio, Krokus, any 80's heavy metal bands. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackfoot, Rossington/Collins Band-Dale Krantz-Rossington I love all Southern Rock tunes.
I just love writing and recording.

Thank you Walt. Plus he has his own song "If By Chance" which can be downloaded. He plays in a variety of bands and does alot of studio work.
