Brian James is a 32 year old musician residing in Oakland County, MI. He has been writing music since he received his first guitar in at the age of 12. There is nothing more in the world that he loves than playing his music and seeing the crowds as he does so.
Why this name?
It's my name, so I choose it. Pretty neat, eh?
Do you play live?
Available to play anywhere, anytime. My favorite moments are when you play a song for someone for the first time or a new song for existing fans and they get this, "man I really dig this" look on their face.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It opened it up to everyone with a dream.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, because I want my music to be out there where everyone can here it.
Your influences?
My influences are The Beatles, Elton John, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Dave Matthews, Simon and Garfunkel, Ben Folds (in no particular order) and anything from the 70's funk era (among many others).
Favorite spot?
My favorite spot to be is on stage entertaining the masses.
