It's Matts' initials and sounds cool too.

We are not currently playing live, but we would love to in the future.

The internet gives us a great opportunity to have our music heard by people who would not have had the chance to hear it.

mmmmmmmmmmmmm let me think about that for a while...............

We met while attending Aviation High School in Queens , NY. Matt was already in a band with his brother Carmine, who played bass. John was not in a band and didn't even own drums when he met Matt but he knew he wanted to start a band with Matt as the Guitarist. After High School they got their chance and formed "Thirteen", which was a cover band playing classic rock like Hendrix, Zep and Cream.
Fastforward to the 1990's and Matt and John begin what is now MD, a collaboration between a guitarist and drummer with its roots in blues based rock. The vocals are completed by our friend Ed Betancourt, who fronts his own cover band.

Our musical influences range from Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Bad Company to BB King and Bruce Springsteen.

We feel that NYC is the place to make it! It all happens in NYC.

We want to dedicate our music to Carmine, Matts' brother, who has touched us both and has had a profound influence on our music.
