In the spring of 2004 in Royal Oak, Chris Michael (vocals) wanted to start up a punk band with some other interested local musicians. His call for musicians was answered soon after by Sean Dufty (drums), Nik (bass), and Mark Macabre (guitar). After just a few practices, and a show at a local YMCA, the band was cut down to just Chris, Mark, and Nik, who played as a our fill in drummer instead of bassist for awhile. A few months later Will (drums) joined the band, so Nik is actually play bass now. And that was the origin, I guess you could say, of the band.
Why this name?
The name 6ft to Glamour came from a list of band names Nik and Mark wrote up, we chose it because it sounds pretty cool, and because of the idea behind it; Death is a glamourous thing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If we were interested, of course.
Your influences?
The Misfits, Danzig, Graves, Gotham Road, The Ramones, Agent Orange, The Damned, and alot of other bands.
