Blu smoke is Ryan Itchon and his computer/s
Why this name?
I used to have this blu neon light in my room. One night i came home drunk with a cigarette in my hand, turned the computer on, took my pants off... took a puff and blew it out slowly, some of the smoke went past the blue neon rays... wallah! blue smoke... fluid... moving... slowly... ghostly... beautiful!
Do you play live?
Yes. In my room:)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it makes music more accesible to more people. I don't have problems about my music being free, i don't intend to make a living out of it anyways, just wanna share my music, that's all. Thou it would be really nice to profit from something you enjoy doing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably not.
Band History:
See im rocker, i was listening to nine inch nails one night and i said to my self "I can do that!" so i started prowling the internet for softsynths and the rest was history:)
Your influences?
Pearl Jam, Metallica, Wolfgang, Balahibum Pusa, Tropical Depression, Dead Nails, Dahong Palay, Backdraft, Rivermaya, The Youth, Yano, Paul Van Dyke, Orbital, Mario Piu, Mauro Picotto, Prodigy, Orbital, Infected Mushroom
Favorite spot?
Under an acacia tree near a creek at the barrio where my gramps lived, the tree was uprooted by a storm thou... too bad. I used to spend lots of time alone at that spot when i was 5-6yrs old.
Equipment used:
a sony vaio srx-99 laptop, p4 1.5Ghz desktop, a cheap midi keyboard and hopefully soon a home made 64 knobs 64 button control box
Anything else...?
This is my attempt on conveying my message thru music without usingor with minimal use of words/lyrics. I pay attention to minor details on each tracks so i suggest using a good sound system or at least a good pair of headphones when you listen to the tracks.

Turn the lights off... light a candle... close your eyes... press play... and feel it...
