I am a 25 year old guitarist/songwriter living in Newcastle/Australia.
My listening and writing style is Pop/Rock.
I've been playing for nearly 14 years and during that time I have learnt and incorporated many artist's styles to create what I have today.
My main musical influences come from Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Pearl Jam, Sheryl Crow, REM, Soundgarden and The Smashing Pumpkins.

Why this name?
I've been using JoePerryJnr simply as a username. It's not a band name, since I'm actually looking to secure a Publishing deal, I'm not forming a band at the moment.
To be more accurate RichieSamboraJnr would sum me up better, but I prefered the sound of the other.

Do you play live?
I haven't played live since being the guitarist in the Newcastle cover band "Charlie's Web" for most of 2003.
I've spent most of my time playing music with friends and/or developing my style and writing rather than forming bands or playing in them.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows unsigned artists to get their music out in the world.
It also allows people to share their ideas without having to burn discs, setup pc networks or travel.
