my name is Dave Dawson I am from Bishop Auckland, County Durham, England. I am an acoustic based singer/songwriter.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's brilliant!. I wish the internet had been available back when I was starting out.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would but I am more interested in a publishing deal
Band History:
Played solo for two years before joining my first band, 'Household Appliances' in 1994. Then formed a duo called, 'Harriets Ghost' which I played in on and off until 2001.
Your influences?
Bruce Springsteen is the biggest infuence on my music. When I first heard, 'Nebraska' I fell in love with the beauty of acoustic music! ( Bob Dylan too!)

Acoustic Guitar and Harmonica and sometimes I sequence my own backing tracks
