BIO: The Shut Down is the joining to two rappers, Lou and X. They met in their freshman year of high school and have fed off eachother's creativity. Within the first couple of days of recording, they were requested to perform at a small talent show. After getting together with a friend for a beat, they produced a bangin' track called "SHUT DOWN" and performed it the next night. Ever since then, The Shut Down has been recording, and looking for performances.

It both helps and hinders the music industry. It helps by increasing exposure and interest, yet it hinders the industry because of the free availability. Production becomes a complete negative in monetary increase.
