Chris Kent an up-in-coming acoustic songwriter who enjoys making music in the folk tradition. Born in Boston, Chris began playing music first on the harmonica, then later on the guitar. His songs are personal, with articulate and poignant lyrics set behind a barebones musical arrangements. A student of literature, many of the songs weave elements of myth, imagery and unique characters to bring the listener into his world. Always eager to learn, Chris looks to those who have gone before him for inspiration, wisdom and guidance.
