ramoth gilead was a name given to an ancient city of refuge in palestine beside jordan. it was a fortified city where you can find peace and solitude in times of trouble. the name gives an atmosphere of security and refuge, and somewhat sounds rock!!! because this band rocks!!!

the band has one major concert during the launching of our first album entitled "death". we also had church tours wherein we played live during church services and youth gatherings. we've also played in malls, campuses, local tv shows, radio stations, and the band was also invited to play on some special gatherings of local organizations. of course, it is fun to play live!! the band got to meet a lot of people, not to mention the exposure of the band itself.
the first major concert during the band's album launching was a very special moment. we got to play live in a really cool place with lots of cool equipment. it was also unforgettable when we performed inside a mall for 4 hours non-stop with hundreds of people watching us. now, that's pretty special.

the internet will make it easier for music to be exchanged among a lot of people by just a click of the mouse. new album or new song releases can easily be made known throughout the world in just a few seconds.

Yes, as an independent band, we will accept if someone signs us a record contract.

our primary musical influences are Christian rock artists like p.o.d. 38th parallel, 12 stones, kutless, emery, spoken etc. but we also have our own diverse influences from folk & alternative (jars of clay) to a bit of jazz or blues. though most of our friends say that many of our songs sound like evanescence we continue to progress and innovate and even experiment on our music.
