There must be a [genre] out there that encompasses Daydream Electric's music, but I haven't found it. All I can say is, "Listen to the music.". You'll either love it or you'll hate it (maybe a little of both).
Why this name?
Someone was already using "Daydream Nation".
Do you play live?
We play live as much as we can. The recordings available on Soundclick were made at a recent performance at the Thunderbird Coffeehouse in Jackson, Michigan.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It'll change things in ways we can't even begin to imagine. Bands who record and release their own material now have complete creative control. This may lead to a glut of crappy music, but there will surely be bands out there who're creating (rather than imitating)...

We really don't sound like any of them, so it's sort of pointless to list them...
