Name change!!! Instead of the Big Rob I've changed my name to The Invisible Man inspired by the book written by Ralph Ellison. Currently I'm working for an EP entitled Pre-emptive Strike. I hope to have it all done by the end of June 05.
Why this name?
A quote from the book really summed up a lot of things in my life. "I am invisible, understand, simply because people refuse to see me. "
Ralph Ellison
Do you play live?
I'm going to try to in the future
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's good for music and it's bad too. It's kind of like a marriage. Sometimes spouses clash. Bootlegging takes away from an artists sales and in a sense it can make more people aware of your music. Call it extra promotion. To me it all balances out in the end if you make good music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the situations are favorable, I'll sign. We all know record company rule # 4080, "Record company people are shady." Right now I would only want them to distribute my music, but if the right deal comes along, I'll sign. I just don't want to get raped on publishing and things like that.
Band History:
I have alwas loved hip hop music since I was a child. My brother brought home tapes and got me hooked. I started writing when I was about 12. I started producing at the age of 19. I spent a lot of time trying to perfect both, so when they come together it's magic like a famous laker point guard.
Your influences?
First anf foremost...GOD! Couldn't do it without him.
Emcees: 2Pac, Nas, Wu-Tang (Even Ol D.B. and U God), Redman, Jay-Z, Biggie, Freddie Foxxx aka Bumpy Knuckles, Common, Rass Kass, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, EPMD, Guru of Gangstarr, MOP, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Outkast, Eightball and MJG, T.I., Ludacis, and ME!

Producers: D.J. Premier (The God), Pete Rock (The God), Dr. Dre (The God), 9th Wonder (God In Progress), Rza (Pre 1997), Erick Sermon, Kanye West, Just Blaze, Large Professor, Timberland, and ME!
Favorite spot?
It was Atlanta but then I went to Nashville and fell in love with it. I'm attending MTSU in the fall to major in what else the Recording Industry with an emphasis on Production and Technology. I've always loved Jacksonville too.
Equipment used:
I use my computer that has a lot of software programs like Cool Edit, Fruity Looops, Cake Walk, Native Instruments, and Pro Tools. I also have some Numark Turntables that I use to sample records and scratch. I'm from the old school bro! I'm looking into getting an MPC 1000 or SP1200 and a Keyboard soon.
Anything else...?
Shouts out to my peeps that support my every musical endeavor.
