B-CHILDs journey began at the age of 15 as a neighbor/crate carrier for the Legendary DJ SCRAP DIRTY(CEO of Violator All-Star DJ Coalition) during this time he noticed how a good MC could help the DJ move the crowd, this is when he realized his love for music, and even more so his passion and desire to be a professional recording artist himself. He began to gain experience by being involved in 3 groups. Along with valuable knowledge of the industry, as well as the trials and tribulations of being in a group!

By the age of 16, B-CHILD really began making a name for himself locally as a hot rhyme spitta & talented songwriter. Being inspired by the likes of solo artists like (L.L. Cool J Sir Mix-a-lot & Slick Rick) he decided to become a solo artist, and transitioned from Buk-CHILD to The Blessed-CHILD/B-CHILD. He then began to dedicate himself to the release of his 2001 EP entitled "WHERE DA LUV AT" his 1st and only professional project to date, which he independently released, promoted and distributed. Over the length of his career, he has now sold thousands of units of his EP, performed at the Bud Biliken Parade (2004), performed and interview LIVE on cable television (CAN-TV {CHANNEL 19}, released 2 promotional mixtapes, featured on numerous joints with other local artists, written for a number of other artists, in addition to many local appearances.Some which he has Headlined
