EVERYTHING ENDS - EVER WONDER WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

KONSTRUKT is a reaction...
A reaction to love
a reaction to hate
a reaction to fear,
emptiness,loneliness.
despair
truth
lies
life and death...
Why this name?
The literal definition of "Construct" is "Something synthesized or constructed from simple elements, especially a concept"
At first it was just a reference to the obvious nature of the band members themselves being proficient in their own ways at what they did within the band (which was made up of several style/genre elements) - as things progressed it was apparent how much it related to the music, lyrics and "industrial" tone of the band itself as a whole which continued to add varied elements/sounds.
Do you play live?
Currently finalizing tracks for a new demo and a new band lineup for live shows.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes the music of smaller bands more accesible in an industry that is obviously only out to find the next big thing. It can be a setback in some ways but for the most part (done wisely) it can be to your advantage.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Definitely. If you're smart about it and don't see yourself as a "rock star" then even if your label success doesn't last you'll have the exposure you need and a core fanbase to build on. Stay true to what you do and don't let it go to your head.
Band History:
KONSTRUKT is the final result of one guitarists musical efforts over several years. After several lineup/name changes I was infected with the Industrial virus.I am currently seeking people-vox,bass and keyboards-to finally set things in stone. This will be a new project with a heavier American Head Charge/Prong/Faith No More feel that retains some of the electronic elements of my former band.I'd like to bridge the gap between Static-X and Portishead(!?)Several completed songs recorded digitally.
Your influences?
The electronic aspect of our sound is based in obvious influences such as Skinny Puppy and Ministry. The heavier side comes from years of being weaned on bands such as Prong, Drown, NIN, Circle Of Dust/Celldweller, Skold, Filter, Static-X, Faith No More, American Head Charge, Pitchshifter, Kidney Thieves, 30 Seconds To Mars as well as the influence of the new breed of heavy bands like Deftones and Norma Jean.

Similar Artists: Static-X, Prong, Gravity Kills, American Head Charge etc.
Favorite spot?
Currently my rehearsal space and soon to be onstage.
