Berlin Sazzy Catamisan: drums
Ronnel Espiritu: bass
A.F.M are from the Westside of Naic, Cavite, Philippines, originally consist of four asshole member that filled their lives through drunkenness and sk8boarding.
Original line-up; a drunkass, lazy, ugly, jobless guy Corix Baluca [Mindanao native, settled in Cavite Philippines] on guitar and voxshit, a stoner, a weed freak asshole Patrick Verano on bass, a sh*** ass bastard Berlin Sazzy Catamisan on guitar and a straight edge motherf***er Tammy Hawk on drums.
The band was born on May 2003, and it stands for whatever sh*** that comes on your mind.
After several gigs and a couple of months, Tammy left the band for some reason personally, so we made an experiment, Sazzy beat on the drum skin, Corix [guitar, voxshit], and still Patrick on bass. We played three piece punk/hardcore atonal screaming throat voxshit, atonal riffage. Our music is a kind of an out of tune and disturbance punk and a lil’ bit combination of ska in some of our songs to make it different.
Several months later after those cool gigs, fun, and cool moments with other bands in the u.g, smokin’ and drinkin’, Patrick had a motherf***kkin’ problem and getting prelude to insanity! So we need to find another bassist ‘cuz we love the band and we don’t want A.F.M to be fragmented and dead as shit! So, in just a week we found Ronnel Espiritu a.k.a. “the rat”.
November 2003, recorded our debut d.i.y album called “From Womb To Tomb”. Recorded at Psychotronic studio under Jobless Production and had distributed 50-60 copies of CDR’s and cassettes, and also had a split CD with Toxemia. The record are still available you can get a copy by communicating us. Please contact the addresses and #’s below.
A.F.M are very much available for interviews, gigs other and related subject matter, or you can even send us money for food. The band are still breathin’ strugglin’ and survivin’, spreadin’ words to our brothers and sisters in the u.g. we are preparing new materials at present, so we need small support, lets support each other, help, share and teach each other if you have learned new knowledge ‘cuz that’s the real essence of the real u.g brotherhood with a strong minded unity like a gangs, aaaiiight?!
Always remember the true value; respect, unity, honesty above money, and love!. Much respect to all punk, hardcore and metal and all other forms of music!
