Hi, I live in the Netherlands and I try to make some music now & then, just for fun. On the music page you'll find some of my older 1990's musical experiments. I hope to add some new songs soon, which will definitely be more rock-like, in the style of my track "Okay".
Why this name?
It's just a silly name, for now, which I choose after I started recording bird sounds a while ago. I'm amazed by the awsome little synthesizer these creatures seem to carry with them in their little throats.
Maybe I'll incorporate some nice bird sounds into new compositions in the future.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Don't know about that, but it's a great way of discovering some musical hidden jewels (check out my 'Rock & Blues - Radio Birdyman' (see link below))
Your influences?
I listen a lot to late 60's/early 70's rock/pop/soul, worldmusic (flamenco, arabic, qawalli) and classical music, but also to techno/dance/house; in short: I like a lot of styles and I guess it all might have some influence here or there on my own music.
Favorite spot?
La Isla Graciosa (tiny desert island of the Canary Islands)
Equipment used:
An ancient Atari STf with an old version of Cubase and some soundmodules, synths, samplers and a drumcomputer. Oh, and of course my neat Mackie mixer.
recent addition (May 2004):
. Zoom PS 04 - tiny, portable, versatile, digital multi-tracker/drum/bass/effects studio (with hi quality inbuilt mic, which I'll be using to record new vocal tracks and which will also allow me to record interesting sound-samples just about anywhere 'in the field')
