I took up Dj-ing in the summer of 2001 where my mate Tom Carr had a pretty basic direct drive setup which i played on. I really took to Dj so much so that when ever i bought new tunes i went straight round his for a mix. A few months later after doing this i thought it was time to invest in my own setup so in october i purchased a pair of Numark TT-100 turntables and numark mixer.i started out playing trance and Hard House but gradually moved away from the trance as i didnt find it hard enough for the style i liked to play. I got into Hard House by listening to cds at the time and also going to clubs mainly hearing people like lisa lashes and lisa pin Up. This was a heavy influence on my style to start with but as the years have gone on i seem to have got harder and harder creating a style much more reknown with the likes of paul glazby and karim to name a few.
In november of 2003 i purchased the latest numark ttx1's and the pioneer djm 600. I felt i had to get them becuase not only are they one of the best dj setups you can buy but i wanted to show people i was serious about djing and that my dream is to dj to the hard house masses.

Why this name?
Well my DJ name came about from me and another one of my dj friends (evo) creating a hard house cd named energise. He had thought up his name and he said Olz and Evo sounds good dont it? and i agreed. That Cd mix was later played out live on HHUK Radio which we was pretty pleased about. I also got people emailing me back from places as far as australia and brazil about it all good stuff too, wanting to know if i could send it to them
and when we was doing another one so looks like we will have to get down to it eh evo!
