This was where Phoenix Fire Down had it's humble beginnings. It was the first band that Troy, Tom and Timmy all played in, along with Shawn Hayes, and (briefly) Justin Comeau, who played in the band Faceless Authority with Tom later on.
Why this name?
It just seemed to fit.
Do you play live?
We played one show at the Hudson street fair. Troy was hungover and Shawn was running on no sleep, so they forgot the lyrics to half the songs. Tom's patch chord broke and he knocked over a mic stand....only Tim went unscathed.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it allows crappy little garage bands like LPL to be heard
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
we broke up 2 years ago...this is for nostalgia purposes for Phoenix Fire Down fans only
Band History:
Started in 2002 sometime, when Troy and Tom met at a party and decided to start a band. Tom played guitar, but bought a bass for the occasion because they couldn't find a bass player. Shawn Hayes joined on guitar, and they put Tom's little brother Tim on drums
Your influences?
Dead Kennedys, Ramones, Blink 182, Pennywise, 311, Sum 41, Sex Pistols
Favorite spot?
don't get out much
Equipment used:
we use whatevery other punk band has....guitars, bass, drums, vocals
Anything else...?
