Centuria is a solo project started by Oklahoma City music scene veteran, Clint Goldschmidt. Clint blends all his influences ranging from the Beatles to Nirvana and mixes them all together to form his own style of power pop. Download a few songs, you won't regret it!
Why this name?
Centuria used to be a full band, rather than a solo act. The name was chosen by the members, but when the band broke up, Clint had rights to the name and kept it.
Do you play live?
I have played live in numerous bands around Oklahoma City. I love gigging, it's the reason I play music. Special moments? Every time I step foot on stage.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well, the internet allows anyone/everyone to hear your music. Most radio stations can't boast that!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Band History:
Band History - Well, I'm not really a band, so I guess there would be no "band" history...but I started playing and singing around age 17, so for about 9 years, i've honed my skills and now write my own music. Anything else?
Your influences?
REM, Our Lady Peace, Live, Beatles, Pixies, Nirvana, etc...
Favorite spot?
Favorite spot is being on stage in front of fans.

I do my recording on a Boss digital 8 track recorder.
