Band History:
"Sound Priest is the original Johnny Rockstar" says it's Frontman/ lead Guitarist. "Before I wrote the song Johnny Rockstar, and introduced it to the internet that name had never even been heard of, but now if you do a google search on Johnny Rockstar, you will be overwhelmed, your computer screen will be suddenly swamped with websites, or links using our song name!" He laughs, "I wonder if these people know I hold the original rights to that name."

Sound Priest is a band that calls Detroit Michigan home. You can find this band thrashing away on a Saturday night at local bars, and venues. Sound Priest was born in 1999, and thru trial, and error, have gained alot of fans over the past several years who support their music, mostly good spirited folks, young and old, who can relate to the hard-ships of the band songwriter who spills out his emotions into every song in an attempt to tell the world about his life-long dealings with pain, suffering, and love. Sound Priest is a very versatile band, the songwriting style is very flexible and geared anywhere from Hard Industrial/ Heavy Metal, to an 80's Power ballad Metal, and then you can even sometimes find some songs with a soothing Acoustic Indy feel. So kick back! Grab a listen! And buy something, if you feel sorry for us...
