The extinction of real emcees will occur in the next 3-5 years. Real emcees will be surplanted by Hook Hop rappers with tracks that all sound the same but with a different hook.
I'm proud to be one of the "last real n!gg@z alive that's official."
I'm proud to be one of the "last real n!gg@z alive that's official."
Why this name?
Da Group Of One is self explanatory.
Do you play live?
Not in awhile. The landscape of Hip-Hop has changed to the point that there's only a small niche of cats who appreciate what I and others like me do.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It does.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No. I make tracks now just for me. The last thing I would want is a label to try and change me into the next Chingy or Ying Yang Twins, because that's the "hot thing" right now.
