This band (S.O.A.R., for Stages Of Alternate Reality), was formed in late 1996. The band members in this iteration were Pete Painful (guitars), John Alkins (keyboards), Harlan Mark Vale (drums & percussives) and Rotcod Zzaj (aka Rotcod Zzaj, on Kurzweill PC 88 synthesizer).

Do you play live?
S.O.A.R. played at The Midnight Sun, in Olympia Washington, as well as several live studio sessions
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The nets permit much wider choice/selection of artists/musics. This can be (both) a curse and a blessing for listeners, but the benefits far outweigh the alternatives (being fed pap from major labels)
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Doubtful, though we'd have to have the opportunity first to (really) know what we would do...
Band History:
This was far-reaching music, all spur-of-the-moment, nothing rehearsed and nothing lost. The recording was done spontaneously as well.
