"Twanger" makes music
Why this name?
The definition of "twang": a quick, sharp, vibrating sound, as of a plucked string. Our music definately has a "twang" to it.
Do you play live?
We currently do not play live, but are looking to move into live preformance in the future.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
At present, the easy access that the internet provides has created chaos, with fans becoming theives and the artists becoming victims...but in the long run there will be more creative music produced...Everyone will be making music (the problem may be finding someone to listen)...Perhaps the money will have to be made solely through live performance and movie/TV tie-ins.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Though horror stories abound, the record contract is still the mystical "Holy Grail" for the struggling musician...After a close examination I would probably sign a record contract.
