We are Blind Assault. One of the few and true heavy metal bands in South Florida. We have no mission. Other than to play music that WE like regardless of current trends and passing phases in music. Our style may or may not change with time but regardless we are doing it OUR way.
Why this name?
We drew names out a hat.
Do you play live?
We play wherever the booker has the balls to book us. We've played The Factory, Broadway Billiards, and The Surf Cafe, and our sights are set on The Culture Room...all in due time.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has it's pros or cons, but what in life doesn't?
I think MP3 technology helps unsigned bands like us, but it hurts signed bands. Especially NEW signed bands. I mean just look up the bands from the past 5 years that only released 1 or 2 albums only to be toshed to the way side?

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
We like money. We like chicks. We like alochol. SIGN US PLEASE!
Band History:
Blind Assault was created by metal maniacs Giovanni and Javier. Both having a love for pornography, professional wrestling, and booze, they decided they wanted to create what they loved in heavy metal form. The result is Blind Assault.
The pair added South Florida native Mike C. on drums/percussion. The three would jam in local studios and hash out the first wave of Blind Assault tunes. One thing was missing from the picture, low end.
Kyle had given up on the mid-west music scene and migrated south, to Florida, in a hope of bettering his odds. He answered a classified ad for the empty Blind Assault bassist slot. The rest is history.
The band just recorded their debut recording with Jeremy Dubois at The Dungeon Studios in Miami Florida. The 3 song demo clocking in at just under 10 minutes is thrash metal at it's finest since the 80's. The demo is here on Soundclick for your listening pleasures.
