Why this name?
It is a well-kept secret! But it should say something about our music.
Do you play live?
Every chance we get. So far only on Danish venues. But please invite us....
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The door for new upcoming music has opened. So much music is available just by surfing the internet, however unlegal downloading and copying kills the music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Why not? We don't want our hands tied, but if someone gave us the oppertunity to release an album, we would take it instantly - meaning more people could enjoy our music, and we might make a living out of it.
Band History:
Started out as a soloproject and more as easylistening pop. But in december 2003 adaptive became a band. With influences and backgrounds in everything from heavy-, punk-, melodic-, melancolic-rock and boybands (!) a style was quickly established. The goal is to feel good about making, playing and most of all listening to adaptive's music.
Your influences?
Smashing Pumkins, Weezer, U2, Better Than Ezra, Danish rock bands and so much more.
Favorite spot?
Orange Stage at Roskilde Festival. A dream come true, if we were ever to play there.
