Anubis began in the spring of 1998 consisting of 3 members; Jon Landers (Vocals/Guitar), Matt Ross (Drums), and Mat Gargano (Bass). They combine a variety of sounds stemming from many genres of music such as punk, grunge, and classic rock. Anubis's strong catchy melodies are what make the band stand out. Their potential for success in the future is clearly apparent. Something special can be seen in this band's gift for writing simple pop songs.
