Velvet Tears - Gothic Metal project. When Dimmu Borgir met Depeche Mode, influenced mostly by His Infernal Majesty. Members: Charles Kravitz, Vocals and Rythm Guitar. Terry Smoke, Back Vocals and Lead Guitars. Alek Blumenkron, Drums and Percutions. Jesse Crowley, Bass Guitar.
Why this name?
In a simple way I could say 'Velvet' simbolizes the warmth of Love, 'Tears' on the other side means the pain that Love can be.

Band History:
Short Version: Formers Mind-Rot members, Charles and Alek, left the band to star playing with Terry and Jesse in a new Black Metal project called Dark Desire. The sound evolved mostly under HIM like influences to become what we now know as Velvet Tears.
